  • My Meditations… Spiritual Surgery

This is a constant procedure that a believer must go through.

Welcome to my meditation

Surgeries are normally painful and that’s why doctors numb the affected area before a procedure. However, with spiritual surgeries most of the time if not all we feel the pain during the procedure because it’s all part of our building, training, growth and sonship process.

Spiritual surgeries are not one-offs! God respects our ability to choose, He waits to be invited and allowed access into our space. So it is the areas we give Him access to that He conducts a surgery on. By the way, if you haven’t gone through a spiritual surgery since you gave your life to Jesus?… o boy you are overdue for surgery😊

Now because of the fall of man a disorder was introduced hence the need for corrective spiritual surgeries. We should always be thankful for redemption- the opportunity for a different reality. Our great surgeon deals kindly with us, every surgery He does is laced with love and so be it painful we come out looking like Him every passing moment. I know Spiritual surgeries are painful but yet as true believers of Jesus Christ our desire should be that God pierce through us, cut through us, open us up, do a surgical work in us until we see, hear, know, think, look, act, talk, give, and forgive like He does.

As I drop the pen, my advice to you is to choose and recommend spiritual surgery to another believer today 😊

Have a God filled life!

Scriptures to ponder 🤔on.

Hebrew 12:6 NKJV “For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”

Hebrews 12:11 NKJV “Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

John 15:2 AMPC “Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.”
